Privacy and cookie policy

Effective from 27 October 2026

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Power Protect Sp. z o.o., ul. Słupska 45/B1, 60-458 Poznań, Poland, entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0001187622, tax ID (NIP) 7812093828, REGON 542403758.

For any matter concerning your personal data, write to hello@powerprotect.eu or to our registered address.

2. What data we collect

Through the contact form we collect the data you provide: your name, company or institution, email address, phone number, sector, preferred option and your message. Providing data is voluntary, but without your name and an email address or phone number we cannot reply.

The form is handled by an external service, Web3Forms, which forwards your enquiry to our mailbox. The service may technically record your IP address and the time of submission.

If you email or call us, we process the data you share in that correspondence.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your enquiry and preparing an offer, i.e. steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Correspondence and follow-up about the offer, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Protecting the form against spam and abuse and keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, if needed (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3a. Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

If you consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and improve the website, for example to see which sections are read and where visitors come from. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

Google Analytics collects, among other things, approximate location, device and browser information, pages visited and visit duration, and identifiers stored in cookies. We do not combine this data with form data and do not use it for advertising.

4. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle it and then for up to 12 months after our last contact, in case the conversation continues. If we enter into a contract, we process the data for its duration and for the period required by law, in particular tax and accounting law, and until any claims become time-barred.

5. Who receives the data

Your data may be shared only with service providers acting on our behalf: our form service provider (Web3Forms), our website hosting provider, our email provider, and companies supporting us with IT, accounting and legal advice. If you consent to analytics cookies, statistical data is received by Google Ireland Ltd (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as the Google Analytics provider. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. This applies in particular to Google, which may transfer data to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy,
  • have your data corrected,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest.

To exercise these rights, email hello@powerprotect.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), or with the supervisory authority in your country.

We do not make automated decisions about you and do not profile you.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use two types:

  • Strictly necessary: the pp_consent cookie remembers your cookie choice for 12 months. It does not require consent, because without it the banner would appear on every visit.
  • Analytics (consent only): Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, used to distinguish visitors and sessions. They are kept for up to 2 years.

We do not use advertising cookies or remarketing pixels. Until you consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all. Fonts and other page elements are served from our own server, and the website connects to Web3Forms only when you submit the form.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may cause the banner to appear again.

8. Server logs

Like any web server, our hosting records basic connection information, such as IP address, date and time, browser type and the page visited. This is used for security and technical diagnostics and not to identify visitors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example following changes in the law or in website features. The current version is always available on this page.
